Important: Consent to receive automated or marketing communications is not a condition of purchasing any product or service from Convert Solar.

SMS opt-out: Reply STOP to any text message to unsubscribe from SMS communications at any time. Reply HELP for assistance. Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply. 

Email opt-out: Click the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or contact us at contact@convert-solar.com to be removed from our email marketing lists. Transactional and project-related emails are not subject to marketing opt-out. 

Opting out of marketing communications does not affect your ability to receive service-related communications necessary for the delivery of your project. 

5. How We Share Your Information 

We do not sell your personal information. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for their independent marketing purposes.

· Customer project records and installation documentation are retained for a minimum of seven (7) years following project completion to satisfy warranty, legal, and tax requirements 

· Marketing and inquiry records for individuals who did not become customers are generally retained for up to three (3) years 

· Communications and correspondence are retained for up to five (5) years 

· Cookie and analytics data is retained in accordance with the data retention settings of our analytics providers 

You may request earlier deletion of your personal information in accordance with the rights described in Sections 9 and 10 below, subject to our legal obligations to retain certain records.

We may extend this period by an additional forty-five (45) days when reasonably necessary, with prior notice. 

If we decline to take action on your request, you may appeal our decision by contacting us at the same email address. If you are unsatisfied with our response to your appeal, you may contact the Virginia Attorney General at https://www.oag.state.va.us. 

10. Children’s Privacy 

The Site is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take prompt steps to delete that information.
