Using Solargraf

Having had a really bad experience with attempting to ‘go sunny side up’ 3 years ago with a compnay called Moxie Solar that no longer exists I was hesitant to try this again. But I had invested in a new roof and that brought the possibility of solarizing up again. This time round the experience has been as different as day from night. Convert Solar has been with me on this every step on the way. I have no complaints and am pleased with every personal encounter I have had with the real people who make this company really remarkably great. I have a functioning system that is producing way more energy than I consume right now in March. But, as I had expected, Dominion Energy, and the City of Richmond are now the obstacles to getting me to my PTO approval. Hoping that it will happen sooner rather than later. But that cannot be in any way pinned on Convert Solar. Dominion just has to pull a switch to convert my digital meter from one-way to two-way, and make it into a ‘net meter’ and the city just needs yo send an inspector over to approve the installed electrical features. Dylan, Jose, and Julie have all been great to work with—competent, responsive, and down-to-earth good hard-working people. This operation is what could be called a ‘class act’ and that really sets them apart, I think, in a fledgling industry that has bedn experiencing some growing pains.

Really have to hand it to these guys, who made quick work of the reinstall of our main panel array after a tree fell and crushed them on the roof. Back online within a week of our new roof.

I recommend Convert Solar above all of the other companies that we worked with. They were professional and not pushy, timely and available for when we had questions.

Very pleased with installers. Worked in extremely cold weather and finished in a timely manner. Did a great job!
